Qualifiers for the Winmau World Masters regional playoffs will be held on the following dates.
Tuesday, February 16th Wilhagan's 7pm
Saturday, February 20th Craftsman Club 2pm
Tuesday, February 23rd Wilhagan's 7pm
Saturday, February 27th Craftsman Club 2pm
Tuesday, March 2nd Wilhagan's 7pm
Saturday, March 6th Levi & Hanks 2pm
All qualifiers are round robin format 501. $10 entry fee with a minimum of 5 players. These are great practice so come out if you can!

The PDC's World Dart Championships kick off Friday, December 18. The first match starts at 1pm our time and features Wayne Mardle vs Jyhan Artut. The LIVE dart action can be found at PDC Tv or at some sites at Justin.tv.
American Scotty Burnett plays Saturday December 19 @ 9:20 am vs 2007 finalist Kirk Shephard
Fellow American "Big Daddy" Darin Young toes the oche on Tuesday, December 22 @ 1pm.

The Wilhagans Saturday Night Blind Draw has been temporarily suspended due to low participation over the last month or so. It will resume after the Thanksgiving holidays with a new format and perhaps a new starting time. Check back for more information to be added later. Thanks to all that came out and participated and we wound up giving out $337 in winnings.

Our own Chuck Pankow has qualified to represent the U.S. National team at the America's Cup July 9-11, 2010, in Jamaica!
Notable wins: 3-0 vs Steve Brown, Brad Wethington, and Dan Zimmerman. Steve Brown is ranked #1. in ADO rankings, Wethington is 10, Zimmerman 25.
Chuck is currently number 14,which is how many points he had in the final group to finish tied with Gary Mawson.

On behalf of the GNDA, we'd like to congratulate Eric and Alexis Rust on the birth of their baby girl, Aeris Eleanor Rust, coming into this world Saturday, 2:20pm at 6lbs 9oz, 22 in long. Word has it that she doesn't cry nearly as loud or as much as her dad. I'm sure we'll be seeing her on the oche in a few short years. Congratulations....!!!!

GNDA loses a long-time friend and brother |

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the GNDA wishes to announce the sudden passing of our good friend and long-time member Christopher "Rat" Ratcliffe. Chris left us Tuesday afternoon and will always be a part of our family. As a result, this Saturday's blind draw at Wilhagans will be in tribute to our buddy, so everyone please come join us to celebrate the life of one of our own. Donations will be accepted to aid in the cost of the coming funeral and services. Everyone who met Rat knew that he had a huge heart and he will be greatly missed by all.

I have added several tournaments to the Event Calendar in hopes that some of our local players will start travelling a bit more. These tournaments are so much fun and provide the opportunity to meet great people from all around the country. Oh yeah, and the darting is fantastic. If you see one that catches your eye, ask Chuck and me if we'd like to go. We probably are already!

New Saturday Night Blind Draw at Wilhagans featuring the new Skill Shot Pot..!!! |

Wilhagans is starting up a new, fresh blind draw on Saturday nights beginning Saturday June 27th. The blind draws start at 8pm with sign-ups beginning at 7:30.
Along with another venue to gain dart tripping points, we will be featuring a new alternative to the "Mystery Out". Instead of the normal $1 entry with a number to be determined at the end of the draw, we will be doing a "Skill Shot Pot". Wilhagans has graciously started the pot out at $300.
The "Skill Shot Pot" works like this: at signups, entries for the skill shot pot will be sold for $1 each or 6 for $5. After round two of the draw, a name will be drawn from the entries. That person will then roll 3 20-sided dice. That person will then shoot at the triples of each number on the dice in the order they are thrown. If you hit a triple shown on the dice, you win 1/3 of the pot. Hit all three triples, you win the whole pot. The potential for the growth of the pot will be determined by the number of tickets so the pots can and will grow quickly and money will be won more frequently than the traditional mystery out.
I hope we have a good turnout to support Wilhagans in this endeavor. Come on out and take a shot to win $300 on the first night.....!!!!!!

CHUCK PANKOW GETS TOP 4 AT NORTH AMERICAN DARTS CHAMPIONSHIP |

The PDC's North American Darts Championship took place in Boston on May 31st and our very own Chuck Pankow finished in the top 4. He lost in the semi-finals to Scotty Burnett, who went on to beat last year's champion, Darin Young. Chuck was on fire all day, taking out Isen Veljic(6-4) and #1 seed Gary Mawson (6-3) along the way.

Next up on the PDC calendar for Chuck is the Las Vegas Players Championship on June 30. He'll also try to qualify for the Las Vegas Desert Classic June 28 & 29. Wish him luck and great shooting!

Congratulations to Mary Lacey for winning the ADO Regional competion in Huntsville this past weekend. Mary now advances to the ADO's East West Allstars Challenge 501National Championships in Stamford CT in August. Other Nashville top finishers, Lesleigh Hayes and Jannette Dickerson tied for 3rd. Great darts all and good luck at the Nationals to Mary!

The regional qualifier for the ADO East vs West All Stars will be held at Chips & Salsa in Huntsville on May 17, 2009, beginning at 12:00 pm. Only 3 GNDA members have qualified so far: Jeff Kersting, Mary Lacy, and Earl "Goose" Dunkleberger. Check with Brett Gaffney for any other qualifying opportunities to be held prior to the regional on the 17th. Come on out and shoot against the best in the region. If you want your league darts to improve, this is the best way to hone your game.

2009 TDO State Tournament |

The 2009 TDO State Tournament will be held March 13th - 15th in Elizabethton TN.
This tournament is open to any legal residents of Tennessee or Non-residents who actively participate in a TDO sanctioned league and have played at least 51% of all matches during 2008 for said league.
Come Be a State Champion.

This is great for both soft and steel tip players....This sheet has the ability to calculate game score average and PPDA....be sure to give Goose props for this bit of clever programming! You can download the spreadsheet to your computer by going to our Downloads section...The spreadsheet is under Misc. Dart Related Downloads. Microsoft Excel is required to use this spreadsheet.
